The Mission of Littlerock High School is to offer a safe and secure setting that promotes personal and academic growth where in students are provided with creative and challenging opportunities to become productive citizens.
The Littlerock High School staff believes that education is a lifelong learning process that empowers students to develop personal, academic, aesthetic, technical, and communication skills. Further, we support career-based instruction in a secure environment that encourages the development of students as proactive citizens.
When faced with the social restrictions of the pandemic over the last year, it’s easy to understand why a school would consider putting a program on hold that involves older students mentoring younger students in areas of career exploration. For the SkillsUSA chapter at the Academies of Antelope Valley in Quartz Hill, Calif., however, putting their Student2Student mentoring program on hold wasn’t an option; they just needed to find a new way to make it happen. In doing so, they secured for themselves not just an enriching experience for all involved, but SkillsUSA’s 2021 Student2Student Mentoring Award.

Thirteen students from Littlerock High School participated in the 2018 Santa Cruz Forestry Challenge. The challenge is an academic event for high school students in technical forestry and current forestry topics.
