AUTOMOTIVE TECHNOLOGY 1 09381

Prerequisite: None

Automotive one is a one year course. This basic course focuses on the fundamentals of automotive theory and hands-on practice. The course is 50 percent theory and 50 percent practical experience. Safety and the proper use of tools and equipment as they relate to the automotive industry are constantly reinforced.

AUTO TECHNOLOGY 2 09382

Prerequisite: Auto Tech 1

Automotive 2 is a year long course. This advanced course focuses on expanding the fundamentals of automotive theory and hands-on practice. The course includes an in-depth study of fuel delivery, electrical, and braking systems, as well as engine breakdown/repair and trouble shooting. The course is 50 percent theory and 50 percent practical experience. Safety and the proper use of tools and equipment as they relate to the automotive industry are constantly reinforced.
