Antelope Valley School District

Special Education

Welcome to the Lobo's Special Education Department!

We strive to support all of our students in their learning goals, which may include testing students to see if they qualify for Special Education and an IEP (Individualized Education Program).

Lobo Cafe Club

The Special Education Department is proud to offer students valuable opportunities through the Prevocational and Youth Employment Skills Programs. To support these initiatives, the District Office has provided each school site with a startup coffee cart. These carts were purchased from Able Coffee Roasters, a company dedicated to employing individuals of all abilities and supporting school-based coffee cart programs.

Students participating in job training will gain hands-on experience brewing coffee, tea, and preparing other treats for purchase on campus through the Lobo Café Club.
